Week in review

Well I have been quite busy, so I haven't been able to maintain my blog. I appologize for that. I know there are no excuses, so I will put this last week in a few sentences.

Valentines day was awesome. I spent the day with Rose and Diana. They are some really great girls.

I have been going to the gym every morning with Tammy at 5am still. She is an amazing workout buddy. She knows how to keep me in line. I have missed the last two yoga sessions, but I still have been going to the thursday night personal training sessions.

I want to thank all the people who know the stress I have been under lately and that have been, supportive. You are great friends.

Stress

So I went to the doctor today and he thinks my migraines are due to the stress in my life. I am glad that it isn't anything more serious.

Workout went well this morning. Then I worked out tonight with Rose, one on one, then we all worked out in a group with Rose. She is so awesome. She knows all the tricks to working out efficiently as well as safely.

Another Migraine

Ok, I have had it. I had another migraine today. Thats it. I am going in to see my doctor in the morning. These are horrible and debilitating.

Worked out this morning. Missed my workout buddy, but I got through it all the same. Because of my migraine today I am not going to yoga tonight. I just cant do downward facing dog and have my head throbbing. That is too hard even for me. LOL.

The Biggest Loser

Well if you missed the biggest loser last night, the Red woman went home. FINALLY. She is the most annoying arrogant person on the show and I am so happy she is gone.

Yesterday I worked out in the morning. Had a decent breakfast, lunch and dinner. Had another migraine. I am fed up with these migraines. I am calling my Dr today. This is getting ridicules.

Mom broke down to me yesterday with everything going on. Dad's Alzheimer's, Andy, Grandma Hazel, and other family disasters. My mom is one of the strongest people I know and it takes a lot for her to break down. BUT it does happen. I know I have had my share of break downs lately, but with no time to actually have them. I am always taking care of someone. Oh well.

Start of the 5th week

Well I am back on my diet and went to the gym this morning. I thought that since I pigged out yesterday and didn't exercise that I would be really sore today, but my workout went very well. I spent an hour this morning doing cardio right along side Tammy.

I did have another migraine today. They suck. I spent most of the day laying down trying to get it to go away. Eventually it left, but if it continues I will go see my Dr.

I made a beef roast for dinner tonight, sorry Tammy. She cant eat beef on her diet. She has a good diet, but it wouldn't be something I could do for a long time. If you want to know more about her diet and progress go to http://memoirsofabbw.blogspot.com

You can also go to www.kysn.com to see each of the contestants and read there blogs. Each and everyone of them are great people. There are two teams. First is Team Chrissy which consists of myself, Tammy and Sabrina. Then there is Team Jaxson which consists of Steve, Tracie, and Star. They are all great people.

Yay Saints.

Super bowl Sunday. Saints dominated the field. It was a great game. I cheated on my diet today by eating pizza and drinking beer. I think it is good to have a cheat day every once in a while. That way you don't feel like you are depriving yourself of anything. Back to the strict regimen of the gym and diet starting tomorrow.

On a more serious note

Well I know that you read my blog to find out how my workout or diet is coming, but I really need to unload on this blog. I really don't mean for anyone to feel bad for me or my family, but this is where I can just get my thoughts out.

Andy: Andy is my brother. He is 27 years old and has a terminal illness called neurofibromatosis type 2. It is a disease that tumors attach to each of the nerve endings causing a variety of problems for him. He was a very energetic young kid and now he is mainly bound to his bed. Sometimes he gets into a wheelchair, but not very often. He is blind in one eye, has a feeding tube, and has a trach which makes it so he cant talk anymore. He also lost all of his hearing in 1999. He is a very funny, intelligent, and spiritual person. He is one of my heroes. We just found out that he has a type of bacteria in his lungs that is almost incurable. We have him hooked up to infusion therapy right now for the next 21 days. After the antibiotics are done we will find out if he still has the bacteria. No matter what happens this is what is going to take him to be with God. when he starts to choke on his fluids we are going to make him comfortable so he can go in peace.

Grandma Hazel: Grandma has advanced Alzheimer's. She has suffered with this for many years now and has really no more quality of life. She has been in the hospital for the last three days with an infection and a mild fever. We are treating the infection, but we don't think that she will be with us for too much longer. She is too a christian, and loves the lord.

Like I said I am not writing this for sympathy or to be morbid. I am just letting things go off of my chest and to inform my family and friends. We would appreciate your good thoughts, prayers, and well wishes.

I can tell you one thing. This stress has made me want to eat uncontrollably, which I am not. I have stuck to my diet. It has also made me want to drink the pain away, which is not good for anyone. I have been good, like I said, sticking with my diet and not drinking (A whole lot). I will be taking a cheat day tomorrow, because of Super Bowl. I will be eating pizza and drinking LITE beer. lol.
Thank you for listening.
